Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-19
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the website at channeltics.com and any related services we offer (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Channeltics. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Channeltics provides an estimated YouTube sponsorship value calculator based on publicly available data from the YouTube Data API and on industry benchmarks. The Service:
- Analyses public channel metrics (subscribers, views, engagement, content category).
- Returns a range of indicative sponsorship values.
- Provides explanatory content, calculators, and articles.
The Service is provided to you free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Estimates are not financial advice
All numbers returned by the Service are estimates derived from public data and aggregated industry benchmarks. They are not guaranteed quotes, market rates, financial advice, valuations, or commitments from any sponsor, brand, or creator. Real-world deal values vary significantly based on factors we do not measure (audience geography, brand fit, exclusivity, usage rights, negotiation dynamics, and more). You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the estimates.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to disrupt the Service, bypass rate limits, scrape at industrial scale, reverse engineer non-public components, or otherwise abuse our infrastructure.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, mislead, or harm any creator, brand or third party.
- Represent estimates from the Service as authoritative pricing, sponsor commitments, or valuations without clear disclaimers.
- Use automated tools to collect data from the Service without our prior written permission.
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend or block any user we believe is violating these Terms or the YouTube API Services Terms.
5. YouTube data
The Service uses the YouTube Data API and is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. The underlying channel data displayed by the Service belongs to its respective owners and to YouTube/Google. You agree to comply with these terms when interacting with channel data through the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Channeltics name, logo, website design, written content, and the underlying codebase are owned by Channeltics or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes. No other rights are granted by implication.
7. User submissions
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or messages through the contact form, you grant Channeltics a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use them to improve the Service. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without your permission.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA OR ESTIMATES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Channeltics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages shall not exceed €100 or the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Channeltics harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms or any abuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at that location. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@channeltics.com or via the contact page.
